[cml_media_alt id='69476']agoodoneofnick[/cml_media_alt]A real success in every department. Teamwork was the real winner with 48 members of the team turning up and lending a hand in whatever manner they could.

Far too many photos to post, but have picked out some favourites – the rest are available here and here and here

As the race director I can honestly say that everything went to plan, and there were no issues

Everyone turned up on time, and the timing team were excellent – not a single mistake !

Slight hiccup when we realised the TV remote had no batteries (so couldn’t change input channel) but Duncan swiftly provided some batteries and the problem was solved.

An ‘in race’ injury meant one of our timers had to juggle timing with being a good nurse / wife – which she managed exceptionally well[cml_media_alt id='69474']happyB[/cml_media_alt]

[cml_media_alt id='69475']winner![/cml_media_alt]The kids made good money in tips giving OUR food to the athletes !!

The new lay-out worked a treat and the entire floor covering meant that we didn’t have to mess around with shoes on / off

The physios made A LOT of new friends

The Mens Senior Winner wrote a blog about his experience[cml_media_alt id='69477']physio[/cml_media_alt]

It didn’t rain

Nothing got broken, and we even managed to save much of the flooring

We had representation of each category in the final

Everything kept to the official timing

About 30 people consumed at least 2 beers and a burger afterwards !
