Running Season Structure


 

We all have different objectives throughout the season, and your own planning should be structured around your own personal objectives.

However if you are following the French Triathlon season your objectives should be somewhat aligned with that of the team !

Our running session structure breaks down as follows over the year, we will also hold VMA sessions to allow us to demonstrate progress.

 

Specific Physical Preparation – Working on Stride and Posture

A big part of each saturday morning session is dedicated to working on all the different aspects of improving your stride and posture.

Jumping left to right, running without using your arms, short distance sprints etc…. are all important methods to help you understand how to use you body correctly, and when done regularly will improve you running style.
